Pande Choynkhorlin Monastery

Pande Choynkhorlin Monastery in Erdenetsogt Soum, Bayankhongor Province was first built in 1904 with the initiative and funds of the 8th incarnation of Gachin Lama. It is a unique and valuable heritage, built using the best construction technology of the time, namely the wooden frame method without nails, and carefully coordinated with the combination of artistic design, wood carvings, and color painting. The monastery building has been in a state of being for more than 100 years, with the foundation pillars subsiding and the monastery leaning to the east and north, some frames have separated and become loose, the colors have dried out significantly, and the wooden roof has become leaky due to rain and snow water. The Minister of Education, Science, and Sports, J. Batsuuri, issued an order to resolve the issue of funds for the restoration of valuable cultural heritage, and the funds for the repair were transferred to the Governor of Bayankhongor Province, G. Batjargal. Jamyan Paitan LLC was selected in the open tender to select the contractor for the renovation work and completed the major renovation work at a high level of quality. Jamyan Paitan LLC's team completed many of the works not included in the renovation work plan with their own funds, which was a noble and beautiful deed that was appreciated by the management of Pande Choynkhorlin Monastery, monks, and local believers.
